Grounded In The Concepts first explored in the outdoor survival programs, Lawnwood’s Beahvioral Healthcare Creative Challenge Course, “ROPES”, is designed to broaden the boundaries of success. The Creative Challenge Course is a powerful, action-oriented growth experience developed to foster teamwork, confidence, communication and self-discovery. Your certified Challenge Course facilitators will guide you every step of the way.

The Creative Challenge Course experience at Lawnwood can be adapted to anyone’s capabilities and tailored to meet different objectives. The course is located on Lawnwood Regional Medical Center‘s Behavioral Health campus on a wooded site encompassing beams, ladders, tires, intersected with climbing ropes and cables and highlighted by an imposing 30 foot high climbing wall. Events operate on the principle of “perceived risk” with many safety precautions taken, including the use of mountain climbing gear and belay systems. Local businesses, schools, agencies, group homes, and treatment facilities participate in a series of carefully, and individually, structured physical and intellectual challenges resulting in new insight into unknown strengths, problem solving skills, creativity, cooperation, and leadership. It is the experience of a life time.
